The BRAC 2 ” Pre-Filter is recommended for use with all of the BRAC Residential Greywater Recycling Systems (RGW) and Semi-Commercial Systems (SGW). These external pre-filters are used to extend the use of the integrated filtration when connected to laundry machines or devices that expend a larger than normal quantity of lint, hair, dirt, etc. The self-contained units are easily installed inline on the buildings greywater piping system upstream of the Brac System and in an accessible location. A bypass pipe is then installed upstream of the pre-filter and connected to the Brac System’s overflow pipe.
